Okay, let’s get right to it! Here is my top three “must-have” list for mommies. I relied on these resources while pregnant, and I continue to rely on them as my little baby boys grow up way too quickly!
- The Complete Organic Pregnancy: This book was and still is my mommy bible. It is the only book I have found with an easy and complete breakdown of how to keep toxins out of your body, food, home, and other environments before your baby’s (or in my case…babies) arrival. While this book is targeted towards moms, everyone can benefit from reading it. Don’t we all deserve to live a clean, healthy life with the least amount of toxins as possible?
- The Honest Company: This is Jessica Alba’s latest baby. It’s a diaper and baby essentials delivery service with some of the cleanest products on the market. Yes, even diapers are loaded with chemicals. I continually cross-check their products with the Environmental Working Group as they become available, and they are consistently getting the “green” light. I purchase their diapers, wipes, lotion, soap, and even home cleaning products. It feels good to buy from an “honest” company.
- The Wholesome Baby Food Guide: This is a great book and site for making homemade baby food. It is loaded with information on how to introduce solid foods to your baby, it provides a nutritional breakdown on different foods and spices, and it gives you a wealth of different ideas for creating your baby’s favorite cuisines.
